Water Eject Tone Pulsed 165 Hz bursts and 150–330 Hz sweeps for a speaker muffled by water. Speaker Dust Cleaning Tone A wobbled, agitating signal for a speaker that sounds dull with dust and lint. Phone Speaker Test Sweep, hold a frequency, and check left and right separately. Headphone Mode Check Find out whether your phone is sending audio to headphones that are not there.

Protect your hearing first

These tools play loud tones, and they ask you to raise the volume — which is exactly the combination that damages hearing. Take headphones and earbuds out and leave them out. A tone at full volume against your eardrum can cause permanent damage in seconds, and a wet phone is often stuck routing audio to a headphone output you cannot see.

Hold the phone at arm's length, pointed away from your face and away from anyone else.
Dogs and cats hear these frequencies far better than you do. Give them the room.
If your ears ring or the sound hurts, stop and lower the volume. Ringing is a warning, not a side effect.
Every tone here is capped at 1 kHz, the same cap the app uses. High-frequency tones are the ones that do the damage.
